The Presidency Abroad and Related Community for Turks (YTB), in collaboration with the Uzbek authorities, conducts many projects in the field of education and culture, due to lack of qualified human resources and experienced infrastructure in various fields. Abdullah Qadir Symposium on the 125th Anniversary of his Birth

YTB, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, the Embassy of Ankara in Uzbekistan on 14 March 2019, with the aim of enhancing the recognition of the life and work of Abdullah Kadiri (1894-1938), who is considered the patron of Uzbek literature and its founder. Training for doctors from Uzbekistan

The project “Turkish World Emergency Medicine Education” with the Medical Students Association was implemented on 14 March, within the framework of the project supported by YTB on 8-12 April, 2019. In Uzbekistan, nurses, health officials and other health workers, especially doctors and medical school students, were trained in emergency services agencies, communicating with critically ill patients in emergency rooms and disaster management.

Turkey Alumni Meeting

YTB ​​held a Turkish alumni meeting in Tashkent on 10 November 2019 with the participation of 70 Turkish alumni from different cities of the country. YTB ​​President Abdullah Eren addressed the graduates living in Uzbekistan on the program and said that they would soon start work to establish a Turkish Alumni Association in the country.

Turkey world fight against Covid-19 online training

Within the framework of the project realized in September 2020, in collaboration with the Uzbek Strategic Development Center and YTB, Turkey’s experience in the fight against Covid-19 was handed over to fellow Uzbek doctors in a training that lasted 2 days and 8 lessons.

Laparoscopic Surgery Course

In December 2020, Laparoscopic Surgery Course online training program was organized in collaboration with YTB, TIKA, Islamic Development Bank, University of Health Sciences and March 14 Medical Association. Turkish – Uzbek Theoretical and Practical Translation Training

20 participants from Uzbekistan in the framework of the program organized by YTB between 8-12 March 2021; Turkish-Uzbek sworn translators provide training in interpreting, simultaneous translation, diplomatic text translation, and story translation.

Material support of the Faculty of Turkology

Sets containing 200 books each prepared by YTB were sent to Oriental Institute, Uzbekistan National Library, Silk Road International Tourism University and Samarkand School of Foreign Languages.

Eurasia Youth School

A large number of Uzbek youth participated in the Eurasia Youth School program, which was organized to help university students from the sister community living in Eurasia build the necessary human resources for their country and to contribute to development. In all cases, their country’s relations with Turkey.

Turkish World Young Leaders Program

A total of 35 young people, who participated in the Eurasia Youth School project organized by YTB and were successfully evaluated, went to Turkey. In the program held on 22-29 August 2021; In addition to organized tours of historical and cultural sites in Istanbul, Ankara and Bursa, visits were made to government institutions in the country. Within the framework of the program, most of the students were brought from Uzbekistan.

Turkish World Congress of Educational Sciences

The Turkish World Education Science Congress was held on 24-26 November 2021 by Gazi University with the support of YTB. Turkey 37 educationists from different parts of the world participated in the Congress.

Uzbekistan Youth Forum

The Uzbek Youth Forum was held on 18 December 2021 at the Yıldız Technical University Congress Center with the support of YTB and in collaboration with the Uzbekistan Youth Affairs Organization and the Uzbek Consulate General in Istanbul. The forum was attended by 300 young people, quiz competitions and panels were organized and successful young people were rewarded. The Turkish World Young Academics Congress was organized by the Young Academics Union, organized by the Presidential National Library Congress Center, 24-26 December 2021, with the support of YTB. Six Uzbek academics took part in the program.

Turkey Scholarship

According to 2020-2021 YÖK statistics, the total number of Uzbek students studying in Turkey is 1547, as of 2022, 1,653 Uzbek candidates applied for Turkish scholarships. Since 1992, a total of 2,520 Uzbek students have been offered higher education in the country, including scholarships. Currently, 217 international students from Uzbekistan are studying at various universities in the country, taking advantage of YTB’s Türkiye Scholarship Program. The number of Uzbek students graduating from higher education institutions in Turkey is close to 2,000.
