Nukhet Duru was born on May 19, 1954 in Istanbul. He is a Turkish singer. He became one of the most powerful and popular singers in popular Turkish music in the 70’s and 80’s.
She was born in Istanbul as the daughter of a family originally from Nigde Bor district. She graduated from Kandili Girls High School. At the age of 11, he suffered a temporary paralysis due to the grief he felt over the separation of his mother and father. Nukhet Duru, who has not been able to walk for almost a year, shared his experience in an interview as follows:

In 1971, she began singing as a soloist in a dance music orchestra at the Floria Deniz Club in Istanbul’s Bakirki district. She drew attention with her beauty and the color and tone of her voice. In 1974, his first 33-piece record, You Remember Me, You Remember Me – was released by Karadır Kaşları. Reached a huge audience with 33 songs titled “Benny Benimle Live – Gerisi Viz Coms” composed in 1975. This record earned the artist his first Gold Record Award. In 1978, he participated in the qualification of Eurovision Turkey with the song “Invitation to Friendship” composed by Ali Kokatepe and the modern folk trio.[4] They participated in the Seoul International Music Competition with the same group and song and won first place. In the 80’s, he also started explaining works of classical Turkish music. During this period, he also showed himself as a headliner on stage.

Nukhet Duru announced that he had a 20-year relationship with Errol Simavi, the son of Sedat Simavi, the founder of the Hurriyat newspaper:
