The prayer of the Father – the prayer of the oppressed – the prayer of the guest

Three people with applicable prayers: people, passengers and parents …

Undoubtedly, three types of prayers are mustahab (accepted): the prayers of the oppressed, the prayers of the traveler and the prayers of the parents for their children. (Tirmidhi, Birr and Sila, 6)

The father’s prayer for the child is like the prophet’s prayer for his nation.

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim

Anas (R) narrates. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

The father’s prayer for the child is like the prophet’s prayer for his nation. (CamusSagir-4199)

Father’s prayer
Hadith of the day: Narrated from Anas. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The prayers of the father come to the court of Allaah without any hindrance. Camusasagir-4198

Communication, which is one of the essential characteristics of human beings as a social organism, has three dimensions: communication with oneself, communication with other creatures and communication with the Creator. Although each of these dimensions is important, there is no doubt that communication with the Creator has a special place and importance. The most basic element of this communication is prayer, which is the essence of worship (Tirmidhi, Debat, 1).
Through prayer, a person submits all his needs, hardships and sufferings to Almighty God, fulfills the most important need of slavery and seeks the highest dignity desired. Prayer is a form of worship that makes people feel that the Lord of the universe, who has infinite power and might, is near. For this reason, Almighty Allah wanted His servants to return to Him and pray in the Qur’an and said: When you pray to Me, I answer the supplicant’s prayer. So let them follow my call and believe in me so that they may find the right path. ” (Bakkarat, 2/186)

Man’s psychological condition and the condition in which he is in increase his return to Allah; This compels him to present his troubles, problems and demands more sincerely. This sincere and sincere tendency of the servant is pleasing to Almighty Allah and this tendency confirms that his prayer is mustahab. The reason why the prayers of the three groups of people mentioned in the above hadith are desirable is that the prayers performed in such a situation are sincere and sincere.

The first of the three classes mentioned in the hadith is the oppressed for which it is mustahab to pray. Oppressed; It means a person who has been oppressed under pressure and oppression, who has been wronged and whose rights have been taken away. The oppressed person, who has nothing to do in the face of injustice, reveals his condition to Almighty Allah and complains to Allah, so to speak, the person who oppresses and oppresses him. Allah Almighty does not return this servant who takes refuge in him from his heart and answers his prayers.

The second group mentioned in the hadith is Musafir. Through travel, a person leaves his homeland and goes abroad, endures many hardships, encounters situations like fatigue and insomnia which reveal a person’s weakness. In such a situation, a Muslim admits his weakness, opens his hands to Almighty Allah, prays and prays. Almighty Allah does not send this servant empty-handed, who sincerely returns to Him and knocks on the door of prayer.

The last group mentioned in the hadith and whose prayers have been described as mustahab are the parents. Although the word “valid” is mentioned in the hadith as “father”, it is said that mother also falls under the word “valid”. Some hadith scholars say that the word ‘sahih’ in this hadith means father; However, they say that since the mother’s rights are greater than the father’s rights, the mother will be included in the scope of the questionable concept.

Parents who work hard to raise, nurture, and nurture their children, and who strive day and night, carry them in their arms until they grow up, and in their hearts forever. Often they ignore them in addition to their own illness and suffering; In the famous phrase, “they do not eat, they eat, they do not wear.” Their children are always faced with welfare and well-being; They are burning with the desire to stay away from all kinds of evil and sin. This is why when parents pray for their children, they pray earnestly, who are part of their own blood and soul. Here, in the hadith of our Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned above, it is said that Allah Almighty must respond to the wishes of parents who make such requests with such desire and encouragement.

Another reason for including the prayers of the parents in the Musjab prayers is that the right / success for the parents comes after the right for Allah. Indeed, “Worship Allah and do not associate anyone with Him. Be kind to parents, relatives, orphans, poor, near neighbors, distant neighbors, close friends, travelers and those under you … ”(Nisa, 4/36); “… (That is why) we have instructed the people: thank me and your parents. Return to me. “(Lokman, 31/14) verses and Hz. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,” The pleasure of the Lord depends on the satisfaction of the parents. The anger of the Lord depends on the anger of the parents. ” This fact is clearly seen in the statement (Tirmidhi, Birr, 3). Accordingly, good behavior with parents comes after the command not to associate with God; Gratitude to parents is mentioned together with gratitude to God, and God’s consent and anger are associated with parental consent and wrath. Therefore, since they have such a privileged position with Almighty God, the prayers that parents make about their children are included in the category of prayers that cannot be rejected.

Therefore, the most basic duty of children should always be to please their parents, to receive their blessings, to refrain from any behavior that may bother them and to take them to heaven. Indeed, Hz. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) clearly stated that parents are the means by which their children can reach Paradise, saying, Let the nose be blown to the ground (may Allah reward him) “(Muslim, Birr, 9).

May Allah Almighty protect us from oppression, persecution and the curse of the oppressed. May it make our journey fruitful and grant us the grace to complete the journey from this world to the hereafter with faith. May He make us one of those children who are kind to their parents and receive their blessings and who pray for a fruitful life for their children. Religious
